Produced from 100% malted barley at award-winning distilleries across the country, Australian single malt whisky is defined by its bold cask programme. Ex-bourbon and ex-red wine barrels — Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon — are the signatures of the style, producing whiskies of considerable complexity in relatively short maturation periods, thanks to Australia's warm climate and pronounced seasonal variation.
Inspired by American bourbon tradition, Australian bourbon-style whiskey is built on a corn-dominant mash bill alongside rye, malted barley and wheat, fermented using sour mash techniques and matured in new American oak. The result is an approachable, mixing-friendly whiskey with classic caramel, vanilla and toffee character — well suited to RTD production, private label blending, and Asia-Pacific markets where bourbon styles are growing strongly.
Distilled primarily from Queensland sugarcane molasses from fresh-pressed cane juice in the agricole style, Australian rum ranges from clean, unaged high-ester cane spirits through to richly matured sipping rums finished in Australian wine barrels and native timber casks. For export supply, Spirit Spring can source across the full spectrum of styles; domestic minimum age requirements do not apply to product destined for overseas markets.
Australian brandy is distilled from locally grown wine grapes — principally Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon — and aged in oak for a minimum of two years. We are able to request grape-variety-specific brandy from select distillery partners, making this an excellent option for buyers seeking a distinctly Australian provenance story in a premium brandy or blending context.

Distilled from Agave Australis grown in Australia's tropical north, Australian agave spirit is one of the most compelling new categories to emerge from the country's craft distilling movement.
